I think that CT is perfectly balanced to be a challenging game for a first-time playthrough, but that, after playing it maybe twice, it becomes a very easy game. This mode is for those of us that have played CT 5 to 15 times before. Master Skill mode, which adds a modifier of maybe 12% extra health to opponents and 3% to the amount of damage that they do to the player. If turned off, then none of the cutscenes will play during the game.
